Vintage Bagno Arm Screw
in the design of the 19th century but made from material of the 21st century:
This Arm Screw is made of nonmagnetic stainless steel with a satin finish!
As a result there are in contrast to the conventional chrome / nickel plated versions certainly no more problems with abraded coatings or allergic reactions.
The Bagno Arm Screw is a vintage cuff from Italy.
Because of the continuous screw fastening, it can be adjusted to fit any wrist. An additional counter nut prevents excessive fastening.
Once the arm screw is in place, it is secured by attaching a padlock or a shackle. The eyelet can also be used to attach a chain, as the arm screws were firstly designed for attachment in a dungeon, rather than transporting the captives.
The lifting of the arms behind the back was also very popular.
